This dance of brush strokes draws inspiration from the ever-changing seasons. The artwork captures the transformative cycle of nature: it tells a tale of the cyclical journey from life to dormancy. As the strokes intertwine and weave across the canvas, they mirror the shifting landscape around my country home, where the grass succumbs to the passage of time, mirroring the seasonal shift before the onset of snowfall.

"Hi, I'm Claire Desjardins. It's really nice to meet you. I help to create happiness by infusing moments of joy in everyday lives." Claire Desjardins (b. 1965, Montreal) is an award-winning Canadian artist living and working in Gore, Quebec. Working primarily in painting, her formally driven work focuses on gesture and colour, emphasizing energetic, animated brush strokes and bold palettes. Her work is both highly abstract and highly personal, a dynamic expression of sentiments or reactions of which she is consciously unaware. She regularly exhibits her work in galleries and art fairs throughout North America. In addition, she frequently teaches painting workshops and has served as a jury member on several national art prizes. Claire has been involved with collaborations with major brands such as The Ritz-Carlton, Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, Microsoft, Shutterfly, among others. In Spring 2019, Claire launched her new signature collection of art apparel, Claire Desjardins, which is sold in stores across the US and in Canada, in the UK and New Zealand. She has live-painted on stage with the likes of Randy Bachman and Blue Rodeo and Styx. Her artwork was auctioned off, and the 100% of the proceeds were donated to help sick kids. Her work can be found in both private and corporate collections around the world.
