About The Artwork

Sometimes complex symbols hide something completely different from what you thought. And sometimes a real semantic depth is hidden behind an ordinary image. Alexandr Gerassimov's painting "Still life with a glass, an umbrella and two arrows" is made in oil on canvas. The work is based on an ordinary modern canvas, which the artist artificially aged. The painting looks like a very old piece of art, but you don't have to worry. Thanks to the author's super-technology of canvas aging, cracked paint will not peel off artificially. The painting will decorate an apartment, office or an art gallery for many years and will become a bright spot in loft and industrial interiors.
