ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I was fortunate enough to attend the dress rehearsals of a Denver based dance group called Wonderbound. They were rehearsing for their new performance called Sandman, a new sort of Western called “Sandman”. I sketched as they rehearsed and took some photos for studio research and then worked on finished paintings in my studio. Attending the actual performance completed my experience. It was an amazing performance and I think they will be a huge success.
