ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is part of a study I am working on. I created a surreal painting called 'Thank you Everything' and decided to see how I could abstract the painting by focusing on certain key areas and repainting them in a more minimal and abstract way. This painting/study highlights a point in the painting that stands out to me. I have used a tight technique to create solid blocks of colour and created hard lines leaning towards a more graphic style. I hope the viewer will enjoy the aesthetic but also allow themselves to wander into the worlds I like to create.
