Jamaica
I am a full-time independent artist from Jamaica. My painting style is usually very abstract, colorful, and expressive. However, my artwork often draws from the unconscious to produce seemingly illusionistic, bizarre, jarring, and dreamlike surreals. I come from a graphics design and video editing background, where I delivered contrasting visual styles, fluid typography, and aesthetically pleasing compositions to clients. From expressionistic abstract paintings to vector illustrations to complex graphics to crisp magazine editorials to corporate brand animations. That experience is often reflected in many painted pieces in my portfolio. I am very fascinated with random shapes, colors, textures, and prism, and how they can be inspired into mutated forms, to create a work of art that jolts your perspective and awaken your subconscious to new ingenious possibilities. When I am not creating beautifully colored and textured designs for clients, you can find my wife and I raising our two little girls in the old capital of Spanish Town.
