This artwork represents a moment of reflection on the incessant phenomenon of chasing that defines the human nature. The background in neutral earth colour represents the canvas of our life and by tracing the vertical stripes, the artist suggest the phases we go trough from birth to death. The splash of dark colors with coloured overlays induce the anxiety and concern that the soul and the mind struggles with while chasing for the next goal combined with ephemere moments of pleasure it provides. The artist chose to represent the child character colorful which inspires a bright innocent soul just starting the race, while the adult chaser starts to lack colour and his mind is burning out from the struggle of the chase.
