Title: The Forest of Bent and Crooked Trees Size: 61 x 91.5 cm Painting: Acrylic on Canvas Year Created: 2021 The image shown is the visible area after being framed. There is about 3-4 cm extra canvas (painted) on each side for stretching. *The very edges of the canvas were stapled on a board while painting, and those edges may be untrimmed to leave enough canvas for easier stretching on stretcher bars. This painting is unstretched and shipped in a tube, and can easily be restretched by your local framing shop. *The lighting, screen display settings, or cameras may cause discrepancies between colors in-person and online. If you are not sure if the colors of this painting are exactly what you are looking for, I would be happy to provide more photos of the painting.

Misako Chida Nationality: Japan Born in 1972 in Yokohama, Japan, she started painting on her own at the age of 30. Since 1999, she has been living in Dalian, China, where she has been participating in various art competitions and exhibitions and happily painting in her studio. Over the years, she has painted many landscapes, women, religious figures, flowers, and more. Her current passion in art is to create more of her modern abstract works which can evoke positive emotions, remind of a particular sweet memory, or simply escort the viewers to a joyful world of imagination. Her favorite time of the day is when she is facing the canvas, playing with colors freewheelingly, and at the end seeing the fruitful outcome of her imagination and continuous experiment. It is her devotion and happiness to keep creating new artworks that bring joy and pleasure to the viewers through her art. ~Article in Collector Favorites: Bestselling Artists of May (2021)~ "Misako Chida’s colorful abstracts are delightfully ebullient, and beloved for their ability to brighten a room. Her paintings are anchored by broad, gestural brushstrokes and expressive paint drips, which are balanced with fine details and rhythmic patterns. With a formal interest in the purity of colors and creating dynamic, flowing compositions, Misako is a constant experimenter. Misako was born in Yokohama, Japan, and is now based in Dalian, China, where she has the pleasure of exhibiting frequently and painting everyday."
