Sometimes with signs around us in nature, perhaps with others who brought into our lives, and very often through dreams. Many times the ancestors bring messages to help ground us when we are stressed or worried. Other times to give us encouragement or strength when we feel discouraged or stuck. And sometimes they bring ideas and inspiration to us to help us keep moving forwards and towards our dreams, striving to be the best we can be. Sometimes we may receive messages in our dreams as a whole, and other times as quick, little snippets. The messages may have a clear meaning, but very often we must work to discover what the messages are. They can come as words, and sometimes as images or things that may happen during our dreams. However they may come, we must learn to listen and hear them, and to be patient for the whole messages to come. Often they come in pieces over a long period of time, like hints and clues or pieces of a puzzle, and we receive the pieces when we are actually ready for them, even when we think we may be ready sooner. Most of all, what’s important is what we do with these messages and dreams. If we listen and are patient enough to receive the whole messages when they come, we can hear our ancestors speaking to us in many ways.
