Masks, Acrylic on canvas 12"x12" Mask is used to cover or hide one’s true identity. It is said that we are what we eat but the saying should be we are what we hide. Sometimes the mask is a physical element but usually mask is an abstract concept. The purpose of mask is to conceal the truth. Truth is again a myth. What can be seen is truth. But mostly truth is masked. Mask create an illusion of truth. In the – two masks are shown camouflaged by the background trying to protect or elude the observer of the sanctity of the truth.
