Created in 1992, the Garden of the Giverny Museum of Impressionism is the result of a complementary work between the architect Philippe Robert, who matched the lines of the garden with those of the museum building, and the landscape designer Mark Rudkin, author of redevelopment of the gardens of the Palais Royal in Paris, which has been entrusted with the flowering and the parterres charter. Located a few meters from the gardens of Monet, this front garden is distinguished by its structured and contemporary appearance. A central alley distributes different monochrome rooms (pink, yellow, blue, black and white) or thematic (roses, aromatic plants). The hedges consist, among others, of emerald thujas and beech seedlings, while the massifs are characterized by an alternation of biennial plants and annuals to promise a flowering from April to October. As the walk progresses, the visitor discovers different atmospheres. Animated by the water rustling of a pond, the white garden offers a soothing atmosphere and invites the visitor to a pleasant relaxation. Succeeding a space of aromatic plants and roses, the black garden surprises by its originality. The ride then continues with the succession of three primary colors. The intimacy of the blue beds responds to the warm and bright colors of the yellow beds. The pink garden, which combines both soft and lively tones, leads the visitor to the foot of a Giverny hillside.

Faithful to nature - this is how Anna Kropiowska's painting could be described in a few words. This does not mean that his paintings are copies. It is rather a spontaneous jet of a sensation, and emotion... The light is perfectly mastered and full of perennial effects, it becomes an energy carrier that makes animated paintings and full of flavour. The relevance of the touch, flexible, but determined, sometimes allies with the impudence of the colours, sometimes rivals with it, to give a fairy world, and yet more real than nature. Anna Kropiowska paints directly on the motif, her favourite subjects being the landscapes captured at the moment. Her creative attitude organizes the space with a frank and sincere desire of enjoyment and pleasure of the eyes.
