About The Artwork
Midnight Shenanigans is a painting inspired by the early works of Helen Frankenthaler. I read in Ninth Street Women by Mary Grabriel that one day while she was in a class, she took her painting supplies and left, went out on location and just painted. I love the idea of freedom of doing what you love. So I got some big brushes and made pots of colors and just painted this imaginary landscape, feeling the freedom of creation.
