The Trees That Sing Print

Cherry blossom is something special. I have a miniature cherry tree in my little garden. I was once told the blossom in Changshu matches that found in Japan, I don't know. It is a cliche subject, I am conscious Damien also covered it at about the same time, going for the chintz. I preferred a more atavistic approach, the idea that the blossom and the breeze combine in some cosmic dance and the beautiful trees sing a beautiful song. I guess therefore the rhythm of the painting is more musical and orchestrated and less of the geometry of bloom. Oil on canvas textured paper backed with canvas board. Plain pine floating frame with string for hanging to back. Dimensions in inches including frame w 12 7/8 x h 17 3/4 d 1 3/8. Will ship in a box.
