ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Billions of years ago, life originated in the ocean. And until now, the ocean remains the source of life for all living on Earth. Amazing and fragile coral reef ecosystems are home to millions of creatures and amaze with their beauty. Bright colors fade and disappear as soon as the balance is disturbed or the coral is taken out of the water. The bizarre shapes and incredible colors of corals create a colorful blanket in the cradle of life on our planet. In this painting, I’ve mixed texture paste with the coral sand from the most beautiful Mauritius beach. This sand kept the memory of the warmth and beauty of the Indian ocean. Original oil painting with texture paste. Size: 50x60x1,8 cm (unframed) This artwork is sold unframed. Cotton duck canvas was wrapped around the wooden frame and painted around the edges. The colors may look a little bit different depending on the computer. The artwork is titled and signed on the back and also comes with a certificate of authenticity.

The study of sensations and emotions is embodied in the color, rhythm, or texture of the picture. I do not copy or decorate reality, but I am looking for ways to convey the sensations and states that a person experiences. I am inspired by the diversity of nature on our planet, the amazing combinations of natural colors, light, and the power of the ocean and wind. In abstract landscapes, I speak to the viewer through color and simplified forms. Another part of my work is a way to convey meanings through symbols created from familiar objects.
