ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The work was inspired by the immortal work of the great English writer Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, The Hound of the Baskervilles. The phrase "... it's too late to admire the beauty of our swamps: the orchids have already faded" belongs to Miss Stapleton. I hope to make the viewer feel the atmosphere of mysticism of the events described in the book. To paint the foliage, the palette knife tool was used, which allows you to apply a volumetric stroke to the canvas. In this sense, we can say that the picture is to some extent a 3D image. Real colors, their brightness, saturation, contrast may differ from those shown in the photo due to color distortion, glare from light sources, reflexes from surrounding objects. Happy purchases!
