ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This traditional art can be found in the Temples Kandy, Sri Lanka (Ceylon). The original art of this has been identified as 18 Century creation which called Pun Kalasa (Filled Pot). This was illustrated with a beautify designed pot filled with flowers and tree leaves. This art symbolizes the eternal success of life. This preserved art was re-drawn by me in 2020 on a Canvas Pad (Nightingale Canvas Artist Pad) with Acrylic paint. I have tried to recreate the original art as much as possible with fine details preserving the original art from. The Colors Yellow and Red prominently used in Sri Lankan Traditional art.
