Tlaloc I Print

This work is part of the project: Memories of mystical spices. The project tries to capture small scenes that involve a whole experience in one place. These experiences are personal, for each new place a painting where I try to transmit beyond the representation of it but particular sensations. In this case, I question the following: What does it mean to capture walking on our lands? How can we pictorially capture a whole day from dawn to sunset? Where is the cold, the humidity, the rain, the sun? How to capture the magic of the smells of the forest, the small encounters, and in turn the magnitude of the mountain and the skies?
