triangular_tube_sphere Print

This painting represents triangular tube with a sphere bell on top. I use polygon meshes from 3D modeling programs as subjects to paint . Using the straight lines produced in the models, I followed each line with a needle and embroidery thread and covered the canvas with straight lines using its precise starting and finishing points. Once the form is established I commenced by painting the mesh using different tones of colour. The painting is now part of our reality, there is physical evidence of the labour, paint separated by thread and yet the image remains aloof, floating on or above the earth.
