I'm a figurative painter, born in Italy in 1960. Art has always played a major role in my life but I graduated in Electronic engineering so I spent most of my life working as such. Since 2012 I have attended painting courses at the Academy of Fine Arts in Macerata. Landscapes and especially seascapes from Abruzzo and Marche, as well as portraits, are my main subjects. My preferred medium is oil on canvass. My inspiration is drawn from the Mediterranean nature surrounding me -the skies, the skylines, the sea, people involved in their day to day activities. These are represented in order to grasp the transition from a state of contemplation to a feeling of the absolute.
