I am a London-based artist with a unique blend of Syrian and Greek roots, who has embraced art as a self-taught talent. Art has been my lifelong passion, starting from my early years when painting and drawing captivated my imagination. However, after moving to London in 2012 to pursue a master's degree in digital media and juggling a demanding city job, my artistic pursuits took a back seat. It wasn't until the arrival of my daughter, Nina in 2020, that I found the inspiration and determination to reignite my neglected love for painting. Motivated by being a role model for my daughter, I strive to exemplify the importance of following one's heart and pursuing true passions in life. My creative vision draws endless inspiration from untouched and wild landscapes, the wonders of nature, the ethereal evening sky, and breathtaking sunsets. I find profound influence in the works of esteemed artists such as Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Paul Cézanne, and Georgia O'Keeffe. To embark on the painting process, I immerse myself in nature's embrace, taking contemplative walks or delving into cherished photographs from past travels, allowing ideas to flow and sketches to manifest. Through a harmonious blend of traditional and contemporary techniques, my artistic exploration unfolds. Each painting undergoes multiple revisions, a testament to my relentless pursuit of perfection. My true joy and contentment lie in the moments when I am outdoors, deeply connected to nature's embrace. This sense of connection permeates through my artwork, as I endeavor to convey the vibrant colors, dynamic movement, and undeniable energy that nature encompasses. By experimenting and pushing boundaries, I create paintings that are not only visually stimulating but also emotionally captivating. In my artistic quest, I strive to encapsulate the sheer beauty and resplendence of nature, with a particular focus on the dramatic scenes of dawn and dusk, evoking a sense of wonder and awe.
