ABOUT THE ARTWORK

This work was inspired by the universe in all it's beauty, I hope the viewers can ditinguish the reaper's scythe at the bottom as well as the Dragon looming above, in every part of this painting there are things to be seen, such as a feline figure near the dragon and part of it, as well as a hammerhead shark outlined near the said dragon, and someone made me notice that there is a deer as well. While in the centre there is this huge Koi carp which travels through life and death on the liminal bridge between them. It can also seem like a huge squid, it really depends on the viewer. The above mentioned schyte is dripping blood that nurtures things that can be identified as huge fruits and vegetables, which can be found if looking on the handle. I chose to use pouring acrylics because it fitted well the essence of adaptivity of water and base of the laws of the universe. The minimalistic look is simple as the essence of life itself.
