ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work was inspired by the daily routine of women alongside the road carrying their babies on their backs; their hands full of baggage for sale to make a living. I hope this work can portray the type of life women from very lowly backgrounds live. Acrylic is my favourite due to its ability to dry quickly and produce marvelous and unpredictable effects. It is very accidental in nature.

Elliot Ngosa is a Visual Artist from Zambia. He was born in the northern part of Zambia. He has been an artist all his life but started serious painting in 2012. Elliot is fully involved in charity works and loves promoting art in community schools apart from doing studio work. He is also founder of a roject called St. Anthony Art project for Charity [SAAPC] whose objective is to sponsor Orphans and vulnerable children in their education.
