About The Artwork
I was inspired by vintage Edward Mobley squeak toys. I like antiques and old toys and actually have a few vintage squeak toys that I have collected. Quirky things interest me as well as cute things. The artwork was done on a canvas pad and is A3 in size. It is not stretched or framed.

I am a painter, drawer and illustrator from Cape Town South Africa. I acquired my BAFA at Stellenbosch University in South Africa in 2005. Currently I am teaching Visual Arts at a high school to grades 8-12. I love drawing and painting in my free time, my subjects are mostly everyday scenes, vintage scenes, sometimes surreal juxtapositions. Portraiture is another of my passions.
