"Violet and Daisy" inspired by the late sideshow performers, Violet and Daisy Hilton, is part of “After the Carnival Is Gone”, a series of paintings of the pictures and imagery of the sideshow, in which every painting illustrates a late or currently active Sideshow perfomer. All of them are portraited in their peace moments, placing the spectator in the place of a voyeur that peeks into their worlds behind the curtain, after the show is over or After the Carnival is gone
