Born in California, Mary Hayes has a BFA in Visual Arts from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. She has had several solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions in, Quebec, Canada and the United States, and is a recipient of grants from both Quebec and Canada Arts Councils. Hayes' work can be found in private and public collections, such as the Art Bank of the Canada Council, Loto Quebec, La Grande Bibliothèque du Québec and the Musée du Québec. Hayes lives and works in Montreal.
