About The Artwork

This work is a result of all the unnecessary strife in the world related to religions.I feel humans have forgotten the real purpose of their relgions which is the same for all religions though the means or paths may be different. This lead me to compose a Unified Religious Symbol in which the cross of the christians, the Khanda of the sikhs, the Om of the hindus , the Eid ka chand of the muslims & the Wheel of the buddhists( signified by the radiating rays)are all integrated into one symbol signifying the Oneness of all religions. If we understand this half the problems of the world will be solved

I am an architect/ artist. residing in bahrain since the last 15 years.I use a lot of sketch pens & pencil / watercolours for my architectural renderings . This reflects in some of my art works also. Being an architect, heritage has always been of interest to me & more often than not it figures in my artworks also . However I also love painting landscapes also. I am a fan of the way the impressionists used colours. I am currently working on series called 'URBAN LANDSCAPES ", inspired by citi life & features a lot of roads & cars. Who says roads & cars can't be beautiful ?
