What the Mystery Guest Left Behind Print

I wanted the challenge of creating some small works when I created this. This is the companion piece to "Where do dreams go when we are gone?" and "ENOUGH!". I was playing around with a very bright yellow that I added a lot of paint medium to. The mixture ended up creating a ghostly image once it soaked into the clothing. The wood to build the stretcher and the fabric scraps are all leftovers from previous works. I love leftovers. Large pieces are wonderful sometimes by just their scale. Smaller pieces pose their own difficulties. I am not saying that large pieces aren't difficult but as an instructor I once told me, "Smaller works have to be like gems."
