I use abstract impressionism to render the poesy and awe of our underwater world. Inspired by snorkelling in coral reefs and other underwater environments, I immerse you into the unseen, untold, unheard life of our world down below. This is my way to share another world on our Blue Planet, our so called silent world. They are memories of strokes of filtered light, patterns, details, rhythms and energies that create this different world. I combine acrylics, inks, powder pigments and earth oxides. I treat my canvasses as unique topographies of space using pointillism and line marking for the details. Each canvas surface acquires sonority and develops a poesy from which a mental state is formed. This work is framed in a white wooden box frame. A signed Certificate of Authenticity is included.
