About The Artwork

Ryoko's style is reminiscent of the Bay Area Figurative Movement. Her concept takes from both abstract and representative painting principles. One can easily recognize the figure, but she relies more heavily on the abstract elements. Ryoko enjoys finding the abstract patterns and shapes in any environment. She uses the figure, shapes, and colors to evoke the viewers personal feelings.
