The painting depicts an Indian woman in a dark sari, holding a large red earthenware jug in her hands. I saw her when she entered the yard. That beautiful tired woman and her huge eyes just begged to be painted in oil! Real life is the best artist. This is what creates the most amazing images, color combinations, and ideas. A bright red spot against an acid-green wall is a challenge to the theory of color harmony. But then the look is transferred to the huge deep eyes and the viewer drowns in them. First compulsive perception, and then emotional. And then emotionality is replaced by empathy, and this is like a reflection of the growth and deepening of the human soul. From this impression, an etude was born, and already from this etude - this artwork, which means a lot to me! This picture was painted during my inspiring expedition to India. I bought a canvas and a stretcher from a local market and started painting right away. Therefore, when buying a painting, you have a chance to touch the real Indian aesthetics - despite the seeming unpretentiousness of the materials, the painting is stretched on a stretcher and executed flawlessly. The painting is coated with acrylic styrene art varnish and is fade-resistant and easy to care for. I will send it packed carefully in a tube or box (on request) with all required documents attached.
