ABOUT THE ARTWORK
from my Minis series: the work is inspired by a mix of real memories when traveling in Andalusia and impressions of the remembered atmosphere. In this case the all of a sudden appearing old houses - quite unreal and dreamlike. The underlying structure made from marble powder produce a very tactile feeling. Like most of my paintings this little peace is more a reflection of the emotional mood of my impressions than reality.
