We are the kings and queens of our age. A generation growing up in the big city jungle of London. Everyone is a queen, and everyone is a king. Confidence grew through our daily confrontation with the life around us, our life through social media, and the freedom of expression we have. Now is the time to be whoever you would like to be. However, we should not forget, that we are still human. We do make mistakes. We all have darker thoughts. We all have our scars, collected through the years. But that is what makes each one of us unique. And even though we do not want to show that side of us to the outside world and rather wear our shining armor, we know that under all these crowns a skinny, naked, and weak part of us is hidden, that we’re too scared to show. And sometimes we forget, that we all have that part, comparing ourselves to the other kings and queens, but should know that what makes us a king or a queen, is the part of us that does not seem to shine.
