Valery was born and raised in the Kharkov region. All the colors of my native places created the artist in my soul. In1967, he came to the city of Kharkov to get an education and go to study at an art school. In 1975, he entered the Kharkov State Art College, received a diploma from a specialist graphic designer. At the school he was taught painting and drawing, composition and art history by famous painting teachers. In his work, Valery combines the tradition of the European school of painting with an emotional manner in a clear authorial implementation. The artist has extensive experience in painting in the open air, and this allows him to masterfully work in color. Each picture of the author has a unique composition and color mood. The inspiration of the artist is the search for love, beauty, harmony and aesthetics in the world around him. Paintings by Valery Kharchenko are colorful music containing a palette of pure human emotions.
