In this pictorial series, Ariel Sainz places himself as a kind of satellite, he uses his sensory body, his machine, the most advanced of all, to try to perceive and also decipher the blackness of empty space. Through meditative practices, isolation in wild nature, prolonged fasting to defeat reason and strip the body of any protection against the black uncertainty of not knowing, Ariel Sainz tries to grasp with his senses the ancestral fabric that underlies the invisible, the warp that interweaves everything, the thread that ties us together in a strange and incomprehensible mirage.
