Ladan was born in Ahvaz, Iran. Sadly, the Iran v Iraq war took its toll on her birthplace and she was forced to move to Isfahan. Isfahan is known as the cradle of Persian rugs, and Ladan found inspiration there that started her journey into the world of art in 1996. Originally, her family encouraged her to enter medical school and keep her art as a hobby. It didn’t take long for Ladan to realise that her passion was in painting not medicine, and she entered The Isfahan Pardis Art College to study Modern Paintings. Almost immediately her talent was recognised, and she was encouraged by her professors to hold an exhibition with two of her fellow art students. Her exhibits were completely sold out at this event, but for Ladan, this wasn’t her ultimate goal. She was hungry to expand her knowledge and skills so took the opportunity to study under some of the most famous artists in Isfahan. In 1999, Ladan started to study at Mahoud Farshchian workshop the world-renowned master of Persian miniature paintings. She learnt and mastered new concepts and the skills to enable her to work with watercolours. Ink and colourology. Combined with her enthusiasm and passion this enabled her to create materials and unique colours. Ladan started to create artwork that everyone was amazed by, her masterpieces have been hosted by several museums and exhibitions in Iran.
