About The Artwork
Heavenly Glory was produced whilst listening to calm acoustic rhythms, and an absolute love of everything I was doing in that moment. This piece was painted with a sincere love of big skies, inspiring views, and soulful hues. Love skies, love colour. "Only from the heart, can you touch the sky" Rumi This painting is on artist quality deep cotton canvas, and stretched with strong wooden bars. With painted sides and varnish it is ready to go with no need for a frame. There is a signature on the front and on the reverse is the Title, a date and signature. All my works are accompanied with a unique Certificate of Authenticity. All my works are gently and individually packaged and their protection is reinforced with strong cardboard packaging to secure safe passage. She loves to use vibrant colours and vivid knife or brush strokes, with hues chosen entirely by mood. She is deeply inspired by the sea, and wild weather. Mel works on artist quality canvas', and the paints are deeply textured and high grade. Mel Graham studied at Nottingham University BA (Hons) and Cardiff University MSc (Econ), and has travelled widely at home and abroad. Her studio is located in Nottingham, UK, with viewings by appointment. She lives with her long suffering husband, two active teenagers, three fluffy guinea pigs, a mad hamster and some docile fish.
