About The Artwork

Marcel Duchamp was someone who cares very little about technique and concept in fine arts. His position was to open the door to any kind of expression from a simple object that becomes art just because of the "artist" purpose of giving to a vulgar object the quality of a piece of art. This painting is a critic to it´s influence in contemporary art, is the magic of sending him a message, in his own language to the beyond.

I am an art entrepreneur, philosopher and fine artist who discovered through art, the way to defeat time and space. I want to heal and amuse people with a direct and honest way to express the art of painting with acrylics and oil sticks on canvas. While figurative art is a matter of doing it technically well, abstraction is like a “leap into the void” where your mind has to be fully connected with the representation of an idea through the strokes that depict a space arrangement or composition and the precise performance of colors with their own scale value and tone like in a symphony. I always tried to keep the visible strokes as part of the drawing, discovering recently that the strokes became like a calligraphy of soul, like a photo of my inner reality. Thus, the abstract expressionist background became a wall, a beautiful background to “say” something else, with words, with straightforward messages to the viewer. Within the messages, sometimes irony is an important way of communicating to a society that is largely sleeping or skeptical. With my “canvas graffiti” proposal, I want to go beyond, to that point in which I can not only do something beautiful, but to publicly declare any thought or any position that comes from my philosophic or aesthetic formation. I will not do street art, but I will make the viewer feel like being in a public space when seeing at one of my paintings, which is like magic for me. Something that is definitely pop, but full of sense and beauty.
