About The Artwork
This is the kind of small painting that one can lose themselves in. The textured blues draws your eye into the overall piece, searching for the familiar. You can see shadows, but you are not quite sure what you are looking through; water? Faded paint surfaces? It remains a mystery. The surface at the top of the painting seems to make more sense to the eye. Like old faded walls & layers of corroded paintwork, the feeling of old shipyards and times passing. Both top & bottom surfaces work in harmony, one to look upon, one to look through. A striking small painting, captivating on any wall. This painting is painted onto wood, it needs no frame, hang directly onto wall using one or two picture hooks.
