About The Artwork
Wandering in the port area of Amalfi late one evening my eye was taken by the beauty of two moored yachts. I was challenged to capture the night light coming from the city and two lamps on the peer that illuminated the scene. Such peace and tranquility extending upwards into the night sky. Painted on 100% cotton Fabriano paper, (640 grams per sq meter; 300 lbs) using my homemade watercolors made from high quality oxides.
