Historic photo , which shows artist Petro Martyniuk near his installation. Marionette Dance As part of an annex to my diploma thesis on visual structures, I am implementing a project entitled Marionette Dance. This is an installation showing three marionettes, in reference to the well-known motif of the Three Graces. They will be hung in a special way in the gallery, posed in the movement of the dance. In this way, they will create one beautiful frame of an elegant dance. Marionette Dance is an installation presenting three graces in dance. The inspiration is a famous theme in the history of art - Three Graces and an animation from the film - Catch me if you can (2002) Three graces in my performance are Art Nouveau, elegant and fashionable. The purpose of the created installation is decorative and commercial. My intention is to show that this type of installation can be used in the windows of clothing stores, in shopping malls, in offices. The elegance of the installation can be used to promote fashion items, to decorate minimalist office interiors, for special decorations in shopping malls. The puppets also refer in their form to a wooden puppet for sketching, known as an accessory from the artist's studio. The puppet is made in such a way that it can be easily assembled for exhibition, easily hung and set in the required movement. The perspective of using similar decorative mannequins is huge. The target group for which the installation was created are fashion houses, fashion stores, shopping malls, offices, luxury apartments.
