About The Artwork

At the edge of the east side of Beirut, lies a dispersed line of architectural leftovers, scarred from the 1970 - 1990 civil war in Lebanon. The subject in this photograph used to be an Abajour Shop located in one of the most elite residential areas in Beirut. Mono Street. Mono is still well preserved in traditional architectural heritage compared to other areas in the city's catastrophic urban landscape.
