ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Boo! Digital culture, social networks, and urban art influences the artists' perception of life. I reflect on the place art takes now in contemporary digital society. The virtual world has become more vital and real than real life. The social networks have become a lens we look through at the world around us. To express this idea, I took a photo a beautiful night near my place and added a sticker from the social network. I decided to make an artwork based on my real social network account. it is my digital diary and my digital trace. I am interested in exploring the boundary between the heritage of art history and the influence of contemporary urban culture on me. I also want to understand what place art occupies in modern urban society and my mind.
