ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This sculpture was made from bread. I've used bread as a symbol of home. Not just for humans but also animals. Bread is a staple food and so this artwork has to be consumed in a short time. This art then , for a while , helps survival. The only record of it's ephemeral and transient existence is a photographic one. The work of Andy Goldsworthy is an inspiration.
