ABOUT THE ARTWORK
10x10" Acrylic on Metallic Paper. For the past 6+ years I've taken photos at the car wash. I listen to loud music while the lights and various foams and rinses pass, and experience it like a novelty. It helps me happily relax and escape, and metaphorically represents the rebirth and renewal of the car, and very playfully inner self. I hope this abstract view into an every day car driver activity is less often taken for granted. I hope the photos affect and inspire others to more often go to the car wash, as well as view simple experiences with more joy and playfulness.

Hi there! Welcome. My name is Jessie Elizabeth. I'm 41 years old and I grew up in Orlando, Florida, U.S.A. For the last 10 years, I've made my home in Cary, North Carolina.
