ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Work inspired by old floral engravings. Cerastium brachypetalum is a flower growing at grassy hills and fields in wormer regions of Central Europe. It blooms between IV-VI. In Poland it could be found only in western part of the country. This flower reminds me of beginning of spring, when days are getting wormer but you still can see snowflakes floating in the air from time to time. This is a digitally manipulated photo of my original artwork. I used the real flowers carefully picked and dried with a little of watercolour for the final feel. Note: Because of current situation I’m not able to ship the original artwork. Sorry. Hopefully it will change soon!
