Art is natural to me. I have been drawing since childhood and I have never interrupted this practice. Earlier it was a way to create fantastic worlds that grew into a way to discover the essence of a human. A human is the main subject in my art. I am interested in a human as a highly organised creation where nor age, nationality, social status or weight matters. I find naked body very attractive, and it is never eroticism that attracts me, but the perfection of the body and the character of the person portrayed. I mostly draw from life. There are artist that I admire but I never tried to imitate anyone as I believe in pure creation. Any reference is coincidental. I adore fluent drawing flowing from the deep of my heart. Such a fluent flow is possible when I draw without any pressure from the outside. School years brought a change into my artistic practice: it was always hard to obey imposed rules. I continued to draw as much as in early childhood, but the drawings I made during school years are strange to me. Studying at the University at Design department I had great teachers, yet I value my art after I quit the University. I am a graphic artist. My first attempts in art production were with a black ink pen on paper. I never liked painting, I used oil only as an experiment. Through years pastel has become my favorite technique. I made many portraits using pastel. Now I combine different techniques. I use oil and dry pastel, carbon, pencils, ink, watercolor, gouache; and it is mostly work on paper that I make. Up to a certain point I was making art for myself and I did not even think about exhibiting or selling it. But it happened so that first collectors found me themselves and encouraged to exhibiting and selling. I am happy with this because showing art and selling it gives me a feedback and inspiration to continue producing new works.
