Hello! My name is Maria Nomad. I came to photography unexpectedly. With a background in law and psychology, I have always been drawn to understanding people. But one day, I realized that I could do more than just listen—I could see their stories. My journey began in Miami, where I picked up a camera for the first time. I started with newborn photography, but a chance photoshoot with a woman changed everything. Since then, I have found my true subject—femininity in all its natural beauty, strength, and grace. The Essence of My Photography My photography is more than just an image. It is an exploration of feminine energy—natural, elegant, and effortlessly powerful. Working in black and white allows me to strip away distractions and focus on the essence: the play of light and shadow, emotions, and movement. My approach is minimalistic yet deeply expressive, highlighting individuality and inner strength. Each image tells a story of confidence, vulnerability, and quiet power. I create a space where women feel seen, accepted, and truly themselves. Today, I live in Toronto, a city I love, but I am always open to change and new opportunities. I don’t consider myself a traditional creative person—rather, an explorer of light, emotions, and moments. For me, photography is a language through which I tell stories of femininity, its beauty, and its depth.
