ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I started collecting vintage handblown glass wine fermentation jugs lovingly known as demijohn, dame-jeanne, bonbonne or carboy. Absolutely loved the quality of the glass, the imperfections, the air bubbles but above all the reflections on my wall when the sun rays went through it. The jugs provided me with endless textured images. This is a photographic collage of three jugs. I could not ignore the beautiful shadows on the wall so I included them because, why waste a shadow? I used the outlines of the bottles and the shadows and wove them together with bubbles. This digital collage was challenging but is one of my favourite pieces to delve into photo collage.

The next adventure took me to London (UK) where I trained as a chef before creating Joie de Vivre, my own Mediterranean restaurant, which I operated for 10 fabulous years. To spice up my life, I embarked on a series of culinary explorations of North America, Mexico, Brazil, Europe, Japan, China, south-east Asia and North Africa. These adventures greatly influenced my cooking, food styling and culinary photography. To continue my journey, I am now based in France where I focus on food as art.
