Dreaming Frog - Limited Edition of 12 Print

The Dreaming Frog is part of my series of photographs, "Contemplating Creatures" where I documented a moment I found an animal in which the animal seemed to be contemplating the cosmos, somehow seeing the edge of existence, suspended in time in the hairline shift between living and dying. This image was taken on my farm in an unused horse trough where this tree frog had become trapped on a submerged limb. The frog seemed to be sleeping, difficult to disturb, although occasionally shifting on the limb. The only digital manipulation of the original image is an increase in contrast to amplify the dreamlike quality in which I found the frog. This limited edition print is signed and numbered by the artist. It is printed on Hahnmuhle 100% cotton rag paper with archival quality inks.
