Austrian photo artist, journalist and art gallery owner, *1960 in Innsbruck. Artistic statement: "Photography, to me, means painting with light and dissolving the boundaries between reality and fantasy. My works invite viewers to see the world with fresh eyes and break free from habitual ways of seeing. Influenced by photographers such as William Eggleston, Stephen Shore, and Andreas Gursky, I do not seek the spectacular or what everyone wants to see. Instead, I find my starting point in quiet, often unassuming details or everyday objects—images that convey authenticity and depth through their raw simplicity. AI and digital manipulation play little to no role in my art. The abstract elements in my photographs emerge directly in-camera through the deliberate use of techniques such as motion blur, multiple exposures, and the intentional selection of unusual perspectives and framing. A key aspect of my creative process is the combination of planned serendipity and precise composition. By reducing an image to its essence, I create space for personal thoughts and interpretations, allowing my works to unfold as a visual journey through emotions—carried by the subtle poetry of the moment."
