ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This photograph takes us to beautiful southern Ontario, a land of greenery and very gentle hills. When I think of it, I think of lakes and forests. I don’t think of striped desert rocks like something out of Zabriske point in Death Valley. However, that’s exactly what you’ll get if you travel just 45 minutes outside of Toronto. The Cheltenham Badlands really is something to behold and something that I never even knew was there until about a year ago. I was able to visit in the fall and the combination of the turning fall leaves and the red striped rocks of the badlands was a beautiful combination.
